Facility Maintenance Services in Metro Vancouver
The upkeep between cleaning and trades — grounds, waste, seasonal work and small repairs.
What this covers
Every building has a set of tasks that fall between the cleaner and the contractor. The bulb in the stairwell. The salt on the walkway at 5am. The bin room nobody wants to deal with. They are too small to call a trade for and too far outside a cleaning spec to be anyone's job — so they wait.
Evo Clean takes them on as part of the same contract, which removes the coordination rather than moving it. One scope, one schedule, one number to call.
Seasonal work in Metro Vancouver means rain far more often than snow — which means drainage, matting, slip risk at entrances, and moss on north-facing hard surfaces. The specification is written for the climate the building is actually in.

Included in the specification
Exterior and grounds
Entrances, walkways, parking areas and landscaping edges kept clear of litter and debris, with attention to the drainage points that flood first.
Waste and recycling management
Bin rooms managed, streams kept separated, and containers moved for collection so the room is not a problem you inherit every week.
Snow removal and salting
Scheduled for the few days a year Metro Vancouver needs it, with pre-treatment when the forecast calls for it rather than a response after the ice forms.
Minor repairs
Light fixtures, washroom fittings and similar small items handled in-house instead of becoming a trade callout and a three-day wait.
Where this fits
Building types this service is built around, across Metro Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.

Questions we get asked
- Is facility maintenance separate from the cleaning contract?
- It can be either. Most buildings fold it into one scope so there is a single schedule and a single point of contact, which is the reason to do it at all. It can also be quoted on its own if your cleaning is already handled.
- Do you handle snow and ice?
- Yes. Snow removal and salting are scoped ahead of the season with agreed trigger conditions, so the work happens because the forecast met the trigger — not because someone remembered to call.
- What counts as a minor repair?
- Work that needs a competent person rather than a licensed trade: lamp and ballast changes, washroom fittings, door hardware adjustment, fixing what a tenant has knocked loose. Anything requiring an electrician, plumber or permit goes to a trade, and we tell you rather than attempting it.
